It is important to clarify that clinical hypnosis is NOT rooted in mythology, ritual, or superstition, nor is it derived from any form of religious or mystical practice. Instead, hypnosis is grounded in modern science and has been systematically explored by researchers for over a century.

According to the American Psychological Association (APA), hypnosis is a state of consciousness involving focused attention and reduced peripheral awareness, characterised by an enhanced capacity for response to suggestion. It involves a person being guided to respond to suggestions for changes in their subjective experience, including perception, sensation, emotion, thought, or behaviour (American Psychological Association, 2023).

Extensive research in psychology, neuroscience, and clinical practice has demonstrated that hypnosis is a natural human phenomenon which can be studied, measured, and applied within evidence-based frameworks.

All assignments and exams are conducted entirely through our secure learning zone portal. This ensures you can complete all of your assessments from anywhere. Our common assessment methods include:

• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ): These are used to test your foundational knowledge.
  

• Subjective Answers: You will be required to provide short or long-form written answers to demonstrate your understanding of a topic.
  

• Viva: A Viva is an oral examination where you discuss your work with an assessor. This is designed to gauge your in-depth understanding of the subject matter.

• The submission of a Case Study/Journal is the final project and is only required at the end of the Diploma course to demonstrate your comprehensive learning.

To help you manage your course fees, we provide flexible instalment plans. You can arrange a payment schedule that suits your needs. However, since we are not a tertiary education service provider, we do not provide financial assistance or education loans. For this same reason, our courses are also not eligible for funding through EPF (Account 2) or any other government education funds.

The primary language used in our courses is English. However, we have tutors who can converse in different languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Our courses are self-paced, which means you can complete them at a speed that suits you. Most students complete the full practitioner diploma within a 15 month period.

No, you do not need a background in health care to enrol in our practitioner courses.

This diploma includes specific training and tutorials led by medical practitioners who are actively using hypnotherapy in their medical practice.
