Dr. Sumithra is a medical doctor and clinical hypnotherapist. She is also a senior lecturer for the Medical Diploma Programme at the LCCH Asia.
Dr. Sumithra uses clinical hypnosis as an adjunct in her GP practice. She believes absolutely in the body’s innate ability to heal itself. She combines 25 years of medical practice with body-mind approaches and has pioneered the use of clinical hypnosis in the management of distress and anxiety in chronic cancer patients. Dr. Sumithra has a special interest in psychosomatic symptoms and functional illness.
